Victor is doing better today. He had a good night's sleep (in between respiratory therapy sessions). Paul stayed with Victor, so Paul also was able to sleep, unlike the night before when they didn't sleep at all. Victor is still on a pretty good amount of oxygen, but is feeling better, and is able to rest. We are still in the Intermediate Care Unit.
I am with my little guy now. Mary Mom, my mom, will come to be with Victor for the afternoon. He loves for her to sing to him--he points to her mouth and says"mm--" (for more) when he wants another song. His pointing is getting better and better. Victor's wonderful teacher, Martha, has offered to come and to be with Victor later, so we can eat dinner with the girls. I'm sure Victor will love this--she is so much fun!
