Victor's grandparents decided this year to give Victor something he really loves for Christmas--books. Victor's love of books began when he was just a baby. He has always loved for us to read to him, which we do frequently throughout the day--this is one of our favorite activities to do with the little guy. But even more of a joy for Victor is that he can look at books himself. It took him longer than typical children to be able to hold a book and turn the pages, due to his lack of muscle tone and fine motor control. But with perseverance and therapy, he is now able to enjoy books all on his own. It has opened a whole new world for him.
