Victor was taken off the ventilator earlier this afternoon. He is now resting comfortably in his mommy's arms. He was sleeping in the picture here but is now awake and happier not to be connected to more machines. He is not coughing though which is a bit of a problem as that helps with clearing up secretions from his lungs. If he doesn't cough in his own then he will need to be stimulated with a catheter down his throat.
