Race for Victor and Pitt Hopkins Syndrome

It's been a while since we last wrote in Victor blog, there is so much to tell. I guess I'll start with the latest news: we have created the Pitt Hopkins Syndrome Fund under the Winston-Salem Foundation, with the purpose of providing useful, caring, and personal information to parents who receive such a diagnosis for their children. Our goal is to serve other parents, facilitate their journeys, and to support medical research towards the understanding and cure of this type of syndrome.

As part of this work we and two other families of children with Pitt Hopkins Syndrome (PTHS) are organizing 5k walk/runs in our own communities on June 26th to raise awareness for PTHS. Here are the links to these three events:

It is so moving to see so many people coming out to support us. We are admittedly a little overwhelmed by all the effort that it takes to organize these events but very excited and looking forward to a bigger deal next year!
