We have had such an incredibly busy summer and fall, and are just now updating Victor's blog! Since the spring, we have sold our house and bought another home. It is all on one level and is walking distance to Paul's work and Theresa's parents house. Victor loves being able to walk all over the house, and it is much safer to have only one floor! The house and yard needed a lot of renovations, and they have been keeping us too busy. I will post some photos of Victor's new room and new play structure soon.
Victor has been very healthy this summer and fall. He has only had a couple of colds/minor viruses--no hospitalizations! He went to camp this summer at the Children's Center, and had a blast. We went on vacation to the beach twice, once with Cheryl and Kathleen, and once with Greg, Yuki, Bob and Mary Jo. He loves the beach--walking on the sand and playing in the water. This fall he was able to have the same teacher and teacher assistant for school this year. We were so thankful--they are wonderful teachers.
Victor has been doing well with his development lately. He is understanding more of what we say to him. When we ask him if he would like us to read him a book, he goes over to his book basket and selects a book and brings it to us. He says "wa" for "want" when he gives us the book. Victor will follow you when you ask him to come with you, especially if it is for an activity that he enjoys, like a bath or going outside. When you mention "bath" or "outside," he squeals with delight and heads straight for it! He is full of smiles everyday, and gives us such joy. We are enjoying this time with our little guy!
